Tim Tebow Super Bowl Ad: Why?
College football is over, but the waft of Tim Tebow's saintly scent continues to deliver us from evil.
Tim and his mother will be blessing us with a pro-life commercial during the Super Bowl.
No one has seen the commercial, yet everyone has an opinion on it. It's a trending topic on google word-search, yet no one knows why. Does anyone find that odd?

Because it's pro-life? Maybe.
Because it's going to be aired during the Super Bowl when approximately, oh, I don't know, anyone with any detectable level of testosterone will be tuned in. And throw in a high level of estrogen as wellā the wives love the commercials too.
Just why is an unseen ad causing such a fuss?
In an age where television networks are slanting more towards political correctness,Ā CBS, is running a pro-life commercial.
Are you kidding us?
That's almost like MSNBC running an anti-amnesty campaign for "guest workers."
Let's be perfectly clear hereāno one from CBS has ever stated, "We believe in the message." In fact, we can smugly state that most of its employees probably aren't even pro-life.
This isn't about the message. This isn't about a political party's statement. This isn't a religious message. This is putting the Tiger Woods of college footballāin terms of google word search popularityāright smack dab in sports' most lucrative advertising payoff.
This is about the Benjamins, baby. C-A-S-H.
There is nothing to buy. There is no catchy tune to sing in your head. There's no super three-day sale nor animal doing weird stunts to get your attention.
No athletic Clydesdales, cute babies or Danica Patrick unzippings.
There is simply a mom telling us why she didn't abort her child, and how we, the human species, are now all the better for it.
We have no idea what she will say, but we all will be watching the commercial.
Because the network sold out to the Tim Tebow phenomenon and refuse to let it die.
ESPN had their four-year run with Tebow and CBS got only one year with their SEC partnership.
It's payback time baby. Time to ride those Tebow-tails straight to the bank.
While no one will be checking to see if the Tebows' commercial significantly drops the number of abortions after the ad airsāhas any watch group been hired for the Tebow effect results?āone network will be significantly richer after the ad runs.
And while everyone will be giving Tim accolades for taking a stand on his moral priciples, the ensuing debate will make media online sites' page views grow tenfold and google investors richer.
Tebow, believe it or not, could turn around this recession single-handedly.
We expect nothing less from Superman.
