Report: Mallett returning to Arkansas

An already weak 2010 QB draft class may have just gotten a bit weaker.

According to a published report , Arkansas junior QB Ryan Mallett appears to be set to return to Arkansas for his senior year.

Arkansas quarterback Ryan Mallett has apparently reached a decision on his future.

Mallett will return for his junior season with the Razorbacks , according to multiple reports.

The strong-armed Texarkana native had explored the possibility of entering the NFL Draft . He broke or tied 16 school records in his first season as a starter, passing for 3,627 yards and 30 touchdowns.

Most draft sites has Mallett listed int eh top three, scrambled between Jimmy Clausen and Sam Bradford .  Other big QBs are Tim Tebow and Tony Pike.  This is a pretty poor class for any team needing a quarterback and Mallett’s apparent decision makes the class even worse.
