NFL Draft Links (1/4) Zorn fired!

The Holidays are officially over, so you can count on R and R for all your NFL Draft news and links.  Normalcy returns.

Perhaps the biggest news today, aside from news we already reported on this weekend regarding Jahvid Best and Joe Haden, is the ending of the regular NFL football season, and thus, the setting of the NFL Draft order.  We have already put up the Top 10 draft picks.  Will be interesting to see now if NFL Mock Draft writers start to solidify their at least Top 2 to 3 picks.  Of course, you can watch that at the best Mock Draft Database on the web.

Onward we go.  I suspect we will begin linking to more team specific news as the NFL season winded down yesterday for many franchises.

The big news this morning thus far, the firing of Jim Zorn in Washington.  How does that play for the Draft?  If reports are accurate, the Washington Redskins will likely name Mike Shanahan as the next head coach soon.  Shanahan is said to really like Oklahoma QB Sam Bradford.  With losses yesterday by Cleveland and Kansas City, the Redskins have the 4th overall pick.  That should clearly be good enough to nab Bradford if they want.
