Mock Munch: Clausen still the projected top pick

The NFL Mock Draft Database (NMDD) has increased to 119 total 2010 NFL mocks.  Here is your weekly NMDD Consensus Top 6 munch.   We have an impressive 36 mocks updated from 11/22 through 12/1.

There are no Consensus Choice at any Top 6 spot, only leaders.  To be declared a consensus pick by the NMDD at least 60% of the mocks must project the same player.  Only 1 leader from our last update remained the same.  Mocks are shifting as the draft board shifts.

Here are your Consensus Leaders at the top 6 spots.

1st Pick:   QB Jimmy Clausen (ND) (14 mock drafts or 39%) –  QB Jimmy Clausen holds the top spot for the second straight week, though he drops 15%.   14 of the 36 mocks now project Clausen to be the first overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.  Another Name beginning to appear here more often is Washington QB Jake Locker.  2 of the 6 mocks updated today have Locker first overall.  This far out, it will be interesting to see how many times this flip flops.    STATS LAST WEEK:   Clausen was 23/30 for 330 yards and 5 TD passes.  Helps the Heismann hunt even though Notre Dame fell to Stanford 45-38, a season that cost Charlie Weis his job.

Runner Up: DT Ndamukong Suh, 9 mocks

2nd Pick:  DT Nadmukong Suh (Neb)(14 mock drafts or 39%)  Suh take sover the lead as the 2nd overall pick.  Last update, OT Russell Okung led in this spot.  Suh is a huge defensive tackle that will tempt nearly every team that lands the 2nd overall spot.  6 of the 13 mocks updated since 11/29 project Suh at 2nd overall.
