Believe it or not, a lot has changed since I posted my mock draft a mere nine days ago.
With 21 weeks to go until the 2010 draft, it's time to update my mock. I love doing this stuff.
My order of draft picks, as always, is based on the current record of the team, and how I think they will finish at the end of the season.
If you don't see a certain player in the mock, ask me about it. There is a good chance I won't have somebody declaring.
Enjoy the show!
1. Cleveland Browns- Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame
The Browns are having an awful season. Their only win came against the Bills in a 6-3 snooze-fest.
Cleveland is in major need for a quarterback. Derek Anderson will go be a back-up somewhere, while Brady Quinn will be traded to a team like the Bills, Raiders, or Redskins, that could actually use him.
Jimmy Clausen is the new Browns quarterback. Good luck! You will definitely need it.
2. Detroit Lions- Russell Okung, OT, Oklahoma State
If the Lions want to succeed all the time on offense, they need an offensive tackle on the opposite side of Gosder Cherilus.
Russell Okung is easily the best OT in the Draft.
In my opinion, Detroit would be foolish to pass up on another opportunity to improve their dismantled offensive line.
3. St. Louis Rams- Jake Locker, QB, Washington
The Rams are going to have a very tough time winning a game for the rest of the season, so they will obviously have a top-five pick in the draft.
Marc Bulger is clearly past his prime. St. Louis needs to focus on getting their quarterback of the future. That quarterback will be Jake Locker.
Jake Locker may stay for his senior season, though. Many believe he will be a bust if he comes out too early.
4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska
The Buccaneers beat the Packers a couple weeks ago to pick up their first win on the season.
The following week, Tampa Bay almost upset the 5-5 Miami Dolphins.
With that said, Tampa Bay still has a terrible defense. They could use a beast on the defensive line like Ndamukong Suh out of Nebraska.
5. Oakland Raiders- Eric Berry, S, Tennessee
Oakland just lost to the Kansas City Chiefs. Yeah, it's pathetic, I know. They now are resorting to starting Bruce Gradkowski at quarterback over JaMarcus Russell.
The Raiders need a strong presence in the secondary. Nnamdi Asomugha is chomping at the bit to leave Oakland, I am sure.
6. Kansas City Chiefs- Taylor Mays, S, USC
As I mentioned earlier, the Chiefs beat the Raiders in a battle of the bads. No need to celebrate, Kansas City.
The Chiefs lack a good strong safety. Mike Brown hasn't been good in three years. He will not be a starter next year. Taylor Mays, on the other hand, will be.
7. Seattle Seahawks- Bruce Campbell, OT, Maryland
Seattle was expected to possibly be a surprise good team this year. The only thing that is surprising is how terrible they are doing as of late.
Bruce Campbell is flying up the draft boards very quickly. The Seahawks offensive line fails to block for Matt Hasselbeck on a consistent level. They will need Bruce for next year.
8. Buffalo Bills- Gerald McCoy, DT, Oklahoma
The Bills have given up a lot of rushing yards lately. They need someone on the defensive line that can step up and shut down the run.
Gerald McCoy is one of the best players available at this point. He might not be the biggest need for Buffalo, but he will suffice.
9. Washington Redskins- Trent Williams, OT, Oklahoma
The Redskins upset the Broncos last weekend which improved their record to 3-6. Nonetheless, you need to fire your coach in the off-season anyways.
Washington's offensive line is pretty horrendous. I want to put a quarterback here, but I just can't see it happening. Ryan Mallett would be a wise choice here, though.
10. Tennessee Titans- Joe Haden, CB, Florida
The Titans have reeled off three wins in a row after starting out at an abysmal 0-6 record.
Tennessee's secondary is one of the worst in the entire league. Their No. 2 cornerback is Rod Hood.
Joe Haden will be the perfect pick to start on the opposite side of Cortland Finnegan in 2010.
11. San Francisco 49ers from Carolina- Bryan Bulaga, OT, Iowa
Carolina lost in a thriller on Thursday night to the Miami Dolphins, worsening their record to 4-6.
San Francisco's offensive line has been very hot and cold this season. Bryan Bulaga, if he comes out early, would be a big upgrade over Adam Snyder and Tony Pashos for next season.
12. Denver Broncos from Chicago- Sam Bradford, QB, Oklahoma
The Denver Broncos may be showing off their true colors. Well, they sure have over the last month, losing three games consecutively.
Sam Bradford to the Broncos is the perfect choice. He works out of the shotgun mostly, has a strong arm, and is a team leader. All of these things are what the Denver Broncos need at quarterback.
13. New York Jets- Donovan Warren, CB, Michigan
New York started off the season very well, but have since become one of the more mediocre teams in the NFL.
Dwight Lowery has had an off year in 2009. In my opinion, he isn't deserving of being a starter any longer. Donovan Warren is a huge improvement over Lowery.
14. San Francisco 49ers- Rolando McClain, ILB, Alabama
For the second of the 49ers two first-rounders, I have San Fran looking for a defensive stud like Rolando McClain out of Alabama.
Takeo Spikes will be 33 in December. Takeo won't be around forever. McClain will look to be a starter over him in 2011.
15. Miami Dolphins- Terrence Cody, DT, University of Alabama
As many of you know, the Miami Dolphins started the 2009 season off 0-3. They have since then won five of their last seven games.
Jason Ferguson's contract expires in March. He will be 35 soon, and is likely to retire in a year or so.
Terrence Cody is a freak at 360 lbs. He will be the next Vince Wilfork. Trust me.
16. Jacksonville Jaguars- Tim Tebow, QB, Florida
The Jaguars have one of the worst attendances by fans in the league. Maurice Jones-Drew has even pleaded for fans to show up to watch him score a touchdown this weekend.
Tim Tebow is a man who can put butts in the seats. He is one of the greatest college quarterbacks in history. Will that equate to him being a good NFL quarterback? We'll have to see about that.
17. Green Bay Packers- Charles Brown, OT, USC
Breaking news: The Packers have arguably the worst offensive lines in NFL history!
Green Bay gave up eight sacks to Minnesota in only one game.
Charles Brown's stock is rising quickly. The Packers could really use a studly, big offensive tackle to help out Aaron Rodgers.
18. Baltimore Ravens- Damian Williams, WR, USC
After many weeks of having the Ravens taking Jermaine Gresham, I have finally changed my mind.
Derrick Mason will likely retire at the end of this season. This will leave Joe Flacco with almost no weapons to throw to. They will need Damian Williams to be a huge factor right away.
19. Atlanta Falcons- Greg Hardy, DE, Ole Miss
Atlanta has slipped as of late. They don't appear to be as good of a team as they were last year, surprisingly.
The Falcons have a terrible pass rush. Jamaal Anderson has proven to be a huge bust. Greg Hardy is the missing ingredient that Atlanta desperately needs.
20. Houston Texans- Morgan Burnett, FS, Georgia Tech
I'm crossing my fingers that the Texans make the playoffs. They are a great story, and deserve to finally be a threat in January.
Houstan's secondary is pretty weak, though. Morgan Burnett next to Bernard Pollard is pretty scary to face.
21. New York Giants- Brandon Spikes, ILB, Florida
New York will have a chance to break their four-game losing streak on Sunday when they face off against the Atlanta Falcons.
Antonio Pierce has had a bad year compared to prior years this season. Brandon Spikes could win up being a starter in his rookie season, believe it or not.
22. Seattle Seahawks from Denver- Jahvid Best, RB, California
Every loss that the Broncos suffer is a reason for the Seahawks to smile. With their 3-6 record, Seattle has very few reasons to smile.
Jahvid "Airborne" Best is the "best" choice for Seattle. Wow, what a lame joke. Seattle's running back situation has been pretty ludicrous this year.
23. Philadelphia Eagles- Derrick Morgan, DE, Georgia Tech
The Eagles are a good team, but not a contender that can beat the likes of the Vikings, Saints, and Cowboys at this point.
Derrick Morgan would be a big improvement over Victor Abiamiri, the Eagles current starting Left End.
24. Arizona Cardinals- Anthony Davis, OT, Rutgers
The Cardinals, despite a slow start, are now 6-3 and leading the NFC West division.
Arizona's offensive line has some needs that have to be filled in the off-season. Anthony Davis isn't a star, but he is a safe pick for the Cardinals.
25. New England Patriots- Dez Bryant, WR, Oklahoma State
The Patriots are a very confusing team. Some weeks they look impossible to beat, and some they look like an overrated team.
New England will look to go for the best player available. The Patriots lack a strong No. 2 receiver on the opposite side of Randy Moss.
26. Dallas Cowboys- Joseph Barksdale, OT, LSU
Dallas lost to the Green Bay Packers, and only scored seven points. Seven points, are you kidding me!?
Flozell Adams is wearing down late in his career. The smart choice for him is to retire before he can't even walk any longer.
27. Pittsburgh Steelers- Earl Thomas, FS, Texas
The Steelers were swept in the season series to the Cincinnati Bengals. Pittsburgh's chances of winning the AFC North are very small.
Pittsburgh needs a talented safety next to Troy Polamolu. Earl Thomas has risen up the draft boards very quickly. He is a very underrated talent that the Steelers will absolutely covet.
28. San Diego Chargers- Brandon LaFell, WR, LSU
San Diego looks to be the team to beat in the AFC West at this point. My gut tells me that they will somehow win their division over the Denver Broncos.
The Chargers could really use a solid No. 2 receiver on the opposite side of possible pro-bowler, Vincent Jackson. Brandon LaFell is perfect for that spot.
29. Cincinnati Bengals- C.J. Spiller, RB, Clemson
Cincinnati is easily the most surprising team this season. Did anybody think they would be winning their division after 11 weeks of football?
Even with signing Larry Johnson, I don't see him sticking around next season. Cincinnati would love to have a dynamic 1-2 punch at running back in 2010.
C.J. Spiller could be the next Reggie Bush, but can take more carries.
30. New Orleans Saints- Sean Weatherspoon, OLB, Missouri
The Saints have looked very dull over the last few weeks. They barely beat the lowly St. Louis Rams on Sunday.
New Orleans' linebacking core is pretty weak besides Jonathan Vilma. Sean Weatherspoon would be an immediate starter on their defense in 2010.
31. Minnesota Vikings- Travis Lewis, OLB, Oklahoma
Minnesota looks like a Super Bowl team this season. With Brett Favre at the helm, the Vikings might finally be able to bring home the Lombardi trophy.
Ben Leber is 31 years old and is a free-agent after the 2010 season. Travis Lewis could even start next season with how talented he is.
32. Indianapolis Colts- Everson Griffen, DE, USC
The Colts are obviously a great team, but they could use a little bit of help in the defensive line, since Raheem Brock and Robert Mathis' contracts end after the 2010 season.
Everson Griffen will be a great pick for the 2011 Colts.
Round 2: Picks 33-48
33. Cleveland Browns- Jermaine Gresham, TE, Oklahoma
34. Detroit Lions- Ras-I Dowling, S/CB, Virginia
35. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Golden Tate, WR, Notre Dam
36. St. Louis Rams- Carlos Dunlap, DE/OLB, Florida
37. Oakland Raiders- Ryan Mallett, QB, Arkansas
38. Kansas City Chiefs- Jason Fox, OT, Miami

41. Washington Redskins- Colt McCoy, QB, Texas

49. Green Bay Packers- Sergio Kindle, DE/OLB, Texas
50. Baltimore Ravens- Trevard Lindley, CB, Kentucky
51. Houston Texans- Vince Oghobaase, DT, Duke
52. Kansas City Chiefs from Atlanta- Ryan Matthews, RB, Fresno State
53. New York Giants- Darrell Stuckey, SS, Kansas
54. Denver Broncos- Corey Wootton, DE/DT, Northwestern
55. Philadelphia Eagles- Gabe Carimi, OT, Wisconsin
56. Arizona Cardinals- Ricky Sapp, DE/OLB, Clemson
57. Dallas Cowboys- Chad Jones, FS, LSU
58. New England Patriots- Jared Odrick, DE/DT, Penn State
59. Pittsburgh Steelers- Mike Iupati, G, Idaho
60. San Diego Chargers- Nate Allen, S, South Florida
61. Cincinnati Bengals- Mitch Petrus, G, Arkansas
62. New Orleans Saints- Jeff Owens, DT, Georgia
63. Minnesota Vikings- Brian Price, DT, UCLA
64. Indianapolis Colts- Ciron Black, OT, LSU
Round 3: Picks 65-80
65. Cleveland Browns- Eric Norwood, DE/OLB, South Carolina
66. Detroit Lions- Marvin Austin, DT, North Carolina
67. St. Louis Rams- Eric Decker, WR, Minnesota
68. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Kareem Jackson, CB, Alabama

77. San Francisco 49ers- Patrick Robinson, CB, Florida State
78. Miami Dolphins- Harry Coleman, FS, LSU
79. Jacksonville Jaguars- Perrish Cox, CB/KR, Oklahoma State
80. Green Bay Packers- Jason Pierre-Paul, DE, South Florida

81. Baltimore Ravens- Daryl Washington, ILB, TCU
82. Atlanta Falcons- Kyle Wilson, CB, Boise State

94. Minnesota Vikings- Brandon Lang, DE, Troy
95. Indianapolis Colts- Mike Neal, DT, Purdue
