Fantasy DC's Week 11: Buy/Sell Report

FantasyDCCorrespondent INovember 18, 2009

Jamal Charles KC, RB

Jon Dove- Sell- I think Charles has potential and has shown he is capable of producing.  However, the Kansas City offense is very shaky resulting in low number of points on the board.  If someone is offering a lot of Charles take it.

Billy Smith- Buy- He is averaging 5.4 yards a carry and is a nice target out of the back field. He is going to get more carries with LJ sitting at home.

Beanie Wells ARZ, RB

Jon Dove- Buy- Wells seems to be getting stronger as the weeks progress.  He had a late start to things due to injuries so don’t expect the rookie wall to be a major factor.  Coach Whisenhunt seems focused on becoming a more balanced offense.  He value rises in keeper leagues.

Billy Smith- Buy- Wells is getting better. He isn’t going to carry your team, but if you need a fill in, you could do worse.

LaDainian Tomlinson SD, RB

Jon Dove- Hold- LT’s value isn’t going to be very high due to his less than spectacular performance this season.  I still think he has value.  He will benefit from being on a team with a high powered offense.  The Chargers are able to move the ball up and down the field giving LT goal line chances.

Billy Smith- Buy- His value is low and on a personal not he has been an albatross to my team this year. However, he is one of the all time greats and still has something in the tank.

I am not sure that the Chargers coaching staff knows how to use him, but I think they are putting him in better spots. Plus, he has been banged up. Well, this is all the stuff I keep telling my self in my head about LT.

Justin Forsett SEA, RB

Jon Dove- Buy- The fact is that the Seattle coaching staff feels there is a future for Forsett.  With Jones’s status in doubt Forsett will get the bulk of the carries on a decent offensive team.  I wouldn’t trade too much but you might be able to buy low due to Forsett’s off the radar status.

Billy Smith- Buy- Forsett is averaging an amazing 6.6 yards a carry. Jones is hurt so Forsett is going to get a lot of carries. Look for big things out of Forsett.

Ladell Betts WAS, RB

Jon Dove- Sell- Betts had a nice game this weekend and it appears that Portis will be out for several weeks.  However, this doesn’t mean I will be jumping on the Betts bandwagon.  The fact remains that the Redskins are a horrible offensive team and Betts is going to struggle to consistently produce good fantasy numbers.

Billy Smith- Sell- Betts is a decent back, but every team is going to stack the box on him and make him work. He will wear down and his decent numbers will diminish.
