Out of Bounds: We Got Sports Galore and the NFL Week 9 Picks on Planet Ill

Howdy folks, the fall season is in full effect and for sports fans it’s the most wonderful time of the year. So much is going on in the world of sports, we can barely keep our heads on a swivel. This week, we bid farewell to the 2009 MLB season. The NFL hits its halfway point (although I always believe it’s Week 8, not Week 9), and the NBA kicked-off, or should I say “tipped-off” their season with some big highlights.

Normally I would just focus on the NFL, but as I grow, so does my hunger for sports, so instead of me just talking about the NFL this week, I figured I would talk about some other topics that hit the news wires from the world of sports that may tickle your fancy. Let’s call it a “working experiment”.  First things first, let’s say hello to our new World Series Champs.
