C.J. Anderson Rumors: Free-Agent RB Drawing Interest from 8 Teams
Free-agent running back C.J. Anderson has received interest from eight teams, according to Mike Klis of 9News, though there remains "no timeline on signing."
Anderson, 27, was released by the Denver Broncos earlier in April after five seasons with the team, rushing for 3,051 yards and 20 touchdowns during his time in the Mile High City.
Anderson had a solid 2017 campaign, rushing for a career-high 1,007 yards, though he reached the end zone just four total times. Pro Football Focus believes he'll be a solid pickup:

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
It's possible Anderson won't have a new home until after the NFL draft, however, as teams will perhaps seek to address holes at the position by adding a young, cheap prospect.
The Broncos appear to be going that route to replace him.
"We feel good about the fact we'll be able to get a good one," Broncos general manager John Elway said when asked about the draft's depth at running back, according to Jeff Legwold of ESPN.com.
The Broncos also seem comfortable with Devontae Booker, who has rushed for 911 yards and five touchdowns in his first two seasons. With Anderson set to count $4.5 million against the cap, per Spotrac, the Broncos decided to take the savings and turn the reins over to either Booker or a player they draft this week.
Anderson didn't appear to have any hard feelings after being released.
"I had a helluva five years," he told Klis. "Pro Bowl, won the Super Bowl. Made some game-changing plays. It was a good way to start my career. I want to thank the organization for taking a chance on an undrafted kid. I had fun. I had great teammates."
