2018 NFL Mock Draft: Full 1st-Round Mock Draft Before Scouting Combine
Draft boards across the NFL are going to change after the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.
Although the quarterbacks in this year's draft class appear to be locked into the top spots on plenty of wish lists, there's a wide array of prospects who could leap into the first-round discussion at the conclusion of the combine.
The other factor for maneuvering on each team's draft board is free agency, which is set to throw everyone for a loop based off the decisions being made in the buildup to the start of the new league year.

Quarterback Market Takes Another Turn
Just as the Cleveland Browns, Denver Broncos and New York Jets felt in good position to land Cousins, a new potential suitor jumped into the fray.
The Minnesota Vikings emerged as a new player for Cousins this week, as they are expected to not put the franchise tag on Case Keenum, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport:
Although a new destination for Cousins opened up, another signal-caller is now on the market in the form of Keenum.
If one of the teams at the top of the first round opts for a veteran quarterback in free agency, it would cause a ripple effect throughout the top 10.
The Browns are still in the best position to land a quarterback of the future since they possess the No. 1 overall selection, but if they decide to dive into the free-agent market for their 2018 quarterback, they could be an intriguing trade partner for teams in need of a player under center.
The New York Giants and Indianapolis Colts don't appear to be in the market for Cousins or Keenum, but they could shape where the quarterbacks are selected.
If the Giants have trust in Eli Manning, they could go after Penn State running back Saquon Barkley, while the Colts might have to dive into the quarterback market if Andrew Luck isn't ready to go for the start of the season.
Would Miami Look At a Receiver to Replace Landry?
Miami is in an intriguing spot with the No. 11 pick, as it is difficult to pinpoint which position it might target.
Although the Dolphins put the franchise tag on wide receiver Jarvis Landry, they would be willing to trade him, per Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald.
If that occurs, the Dolphins would be in the market for an offensive weapon like Courtland Sutton of SMU or Alabama's Calvin Ridley.

Even if the Dolphins keep Landry, it wouldn't be a terrible idea to go after a wide receiver to add another star to the offensive arsenal for head coach Adam Gase to work with.
It's not out of the realm of possibility that the Dolphins make a surprise entrance into the quarterback market if Gase isn't confident in Ryan Tannehill's return from injury and is in love with a prospect in the class of 2018.
With a wide array of talent expected to be available at No. 11, the Dolphins should be able to upgrade their roster regardless of which direction they choose to go in.
Nelson Will Be Coveted Commodity
If you haven't heard of Notre Dame guard Quenton Nelson yet, you need to get familiar with his name.
Nelson has received praise from most draft experts as one of the top stars in the class of 2018.
However, the landing spot for Nelson is still up in the air because of the fluidity of the situation in the top five.
Nelson is good enough to be taken in the top five, with a film reel and a stat sheet that speak for themselves. One of the most impressive data points on his resume is the five quarterback pressures he gave up in 430 snaps in pass protection, per Pro Football Focus College Football:
If he is available at No. 8, the Chicago Bears shouldn't waste any time selecting him even with the intrigue of a star wide receiver like Sutton or Ridley out there.
Depending on what happens in the quarterback market, the Broncos and Jets could be interested in Nelson as well, especially after he marvels at the combine.
