NFL Week 15 Picks: Early Odds and Predictions for Every Upcoming Game
There's no time like the present for bettors to get a head start against the house when it comes to NFL odds.
Week 14 has one game left, a Monday Night Football encounter between the Baltimore Ravens and New England Patriots. Rather than enjoying the reprieve, though, bettors can examine the Week 15 slate after Las Vegas unleashed the odds Sunday night.
Why not jump on early lines? They're rushed out and perhaps littered with oversights. Even better, Week 15 is an odd one, complete with games on Thursday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

L.A. Rams at Seattle (-13)
Veteran bettors can see right through this.
There will be many panicky headlines around the Seattle Seahawks during the build to Week 15. After all, Russell Wilson's offense got grounded in a Week 14 loss to the Green Bay Packers, 38-10.
The undercurrent here, though, is simple: Seattle can't play on the road. Like, at all. The Seahawks have scored 15 total points over their last two road games, with the home contest between the road dates being a 40-7 win.
Cue another major win for the Seahawks in Week 15. If the road-home contrasts aren't enough to convince bettors to side with Seattle, take a long look at the Los Angeles Rams. The team has lost four games in a row, the last three by margins of 49-21, 26-10 and 42-14.
In the latest loss, which came to the Atlanta Falcons, rookie quarterback Jared Goff threw a pair of interceptions while his defense allowed three passing scores. Not only will Goff struggle against the Seattle defense in a hostile environment, but Wilson's offense won't have problems moving the ball against a defense looking like it has thrown in the towel.
The towel reference could apply to the Rams as a whole, a 4-9-1 team going through the motions. The Seahawks, angry after another loss, will use an NFC West foe as a punching bag.
Prediction: Seahawks 34-14
Miami (-3) at N.Y. Jets
This will take some resolve on the part of bettors, but it is best to roll with the Miami Dolphins Saturday against the New York Jets.
Yes, the Dolphins presumably won't have quarterback Ryan Tannehill on the field. As NFL Network's Ian Rapoport noted, the starter suffered an injury during a Week 14 win against the Arizona Cardinals:
But the opponent is the New York Jets. Sounds mean, but the Jets are 4-9, having just broke a four-game skid only because they were able to take the one-win San Francisco 49ers to overtime and escape.
In that one, the Jets broke in new starting quarterback Bryce Petty, who threw for 257 yards with an interception against a defense that was allowing 30.8 points per game.
So yes, the Dolphins should be good for a season sweep of the Jets. The two sides met in Week 9, a 27-23 Miami victory in which Tannehill only threw one touchdown and running back Jay Ajayi carried the load with 111 yards and a score.
That is the overarching point here—Tannehill only has 19 touchdowns to 12 interceptions on the year. If bettors were picking this game and Tannehill were healthy, they were rolling the Dolphins in the first place because of Ajayi, a strong defense and a going-through-the-motions opponent they already beat once.
Instead of Tannehill, nine-year veteran Matt Moore will likely run the offense in what should be a rather by-the-books win for the Dolphins, a team still dreaming about the playoffs.
Prediction: Dolphins 23-20
San Francisco at Atlanta (-11.5)
Both the Falcons and 49ers have received a mention to this point, with bettors likely understanding where this one is going.
The Falcons will swat away the 49ers like a gnat. Atlanta heads home for this matchup off a 42-14 win against the Rams, with quarterback Matt Ryan sporting six touchdowns to two interceptions over his past three games. Only one of those was a loss, and a one-point loss to the contending Kansas City Chiefs isn't anything to panic about.
Did anyone mention Atlanta posted the 42 points with top-three wideout Julio Jones watching from the sidelines? Ryan did, according to ESPN.com's Vaughn McClure:
"We have a lot of belief and confidence in everybody in our building. You talk about what Justin Hardy did today, first play of the game catching a touchdown pass for us in one-on-one coverage. That's a great catch. Taylor Gabriel creating explosive plays. Aldrick Robinson coming up with some big catches for us. And then Nick Williams, with his first week active, coming in and creating great separation on third downs, converting big third downs for us. Just really proud of the way those guys competed.
"
It should go without saying, but the vibes aren't nearly as positive around the 49ers, a team that has lost 12 games in a row. In the aforementioned loss to the Jets, the ground game gained 248 yards and one touchdown on 9.2 yards per carry—and still lost.
The fact San Francisco's miserable defense has to travel across the country for this one only makes it worse. Ryan will do whatever he wants without much interference while the 49ers slog through the contest en route to a 13th loss.
Bettors arriving early at this line might as well gobble it up because the spread will likely only go north from here.
Prediction: Falcons 33-10
