The confrontation between Frazier and McCoy took place in a guest room on the second story of the house. After the incident, Frazier fled the home, entered another house nearby and was arrested.
Buccaneers head coach Dirk Koetter said in Laine's report the team knew what had happened prior to Thursday's game against the Atlanta Falcons.
"We were aware of that situation before the game, and our security people, when they told me about it, assured me that everything was fine," Koetter said. "I talked briefly to Gerald before the game, just to make sure he was OK. He seemed fine at that point."
Laine's report also noted Frazier left his backpack, which contained a stolen Xbox One video game system, at McCoy's house. Police told Laine that Frazier recently burglarized another home in Polk County, Florida, last weekend and had two arrest warrants in Polk and Hillsborough counties.
The 28-year-old McCoy has spent his entire career with the Buccaneers. He was the No. 3 pick in the 2010 draft and has been named to the All-Pro first team three times.
