Joe PantornoOct 29, 2016

With the NFL's trade deadline less than four days away, rumors continue to swirl around some notable names that could be on the move before Nov. 1.

Here is the latest on the league's most recent rumors, as some players could be preparing to move in the middle of the season.

For the second-straight year, Cleveland Browns offensive lineman Joe Thomas has seen his name crop up in trade rumors.

A source told Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio that a deal involving Thomas "is possible," but it could be difficult to get it done before Tuesday.

Florio broke down some of the issues and which teams could be interested:

"

The [Minnesota] Vikings, for example, would be very interested in Thomas. However, with a first-round pick and more already shipped to the [Philadelphia] Eagles for quarterback Sam Bradford and little cap space remaining, it’s a long shot that he’d go to Minnesota. The [Arizona] Cardinals, [New York] Giants, and [Seattle] Seahawks have varying degrees of interest in Thomas as well; the challenge would be coming up with what the Browns want (the source says it’s a second-round pick) and the cap space.

"

He added that the New England Patriots could also be interested in Thomas if Cleveland is desperate to unload him now.

Thomas has spent all of his nine-plus NFL seasons with the Browns and hasn't missed a single game as the team's beacon of consistency.

His steadiness and strength has also helped him make nine Pro Bowls, which is a level of success that is unfamiliar with a Browns team that has not had a winning season since his rookie year.

While his better days might be behind him at 31 years old, Thomas' acquisition could bolster up an offensive line that's in need of some veteran leadership.

Buccaneers Looking For WRs

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have the NFL's 25th-ranked passing offense with just 1,500 yards through six games.

It hasn't been easy for quarterback Jameis Winston either considering that the Buccaneers have lost veteran wide receiver Vincent Jackson for the season due to a torn ACL.

That's why Tampa Bay is scouring the market for a veteran pass-catcher to complement Mike Evans, a source told CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora:

The source also noted that the Buccaneers would make a draft pick or cornerbacks Alterraun Verner and Johnthan Banks available.

Regardless of the passing struggles, the Buccaneers are in second place in the NFC South at 3-3, just one win behind the 4-3 Atlanta Falcons. If they are able to find some receiving help in the coming days, they could develop into divisional favorites overnight.
