On Tuesday, Nicki Jhabvala of the Denver Post tweeted a statement from Sports Authority Field operator Stadium Management regarding the incident:

Amanda Zitzman of Fox31 Denver reported that a Denver Fire Department representative said the fan fell from 30 to 50 feet.

A fall also occurred at the stadium last year, when a 42-year-old man, who was described as "highly intoxicated," fell several stories while trying to retrieve a friend's hat, according to Fox31 Denver.

Per Kieran Nicholson of the Denver Post, Monday's incident occurred at 9:44 p.m. local time as fans were exiting the stadium on the heels of Denver's 27-9 victory.
