Seattle Seahawks vs. Arizona Cardinals Betting Odds, Analysis, NFL Pick
The Arizona Cardinals will be looking to cover the spread in three straight contests for the first time since the start of the 2015 season when they host the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday night.
The 3-3 Cardinals handed the New York Jets a crushing 28-3 loss on Monday to go unbeaten straight up in consecutive outings for the first time in 10 games. The 4-1 Seahawks extended their lead atop the NFC West with last week's 26-24 win over the Atlanta Falcons, and they've held divisional rivals to single digits in five of their past six games on the road.
Point spread: The Cardinals opened as two-point favorites, and the total was 43.5 early in the week, according to sportsbooks monitored by Odds Shark (line updates and matchup report).

Why the Seahawks can cover the spread
The Seahawks take the NFL's best defense to the desert and have been particularly effective in defending the ground game, holding opponents to 64 or fewer rushing yards four times so far this season.
The Seahawks had their hands full last week against Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan, the league's top passer, but they sealed the win on a late interception. They are now undefeated in three games when picking off opposing passers at least once.
That bodes well against Cardinals signal-caller Carson Palmer, who continues to struggle with injuries and who has led Arizona to victory just once in his past six games when throwing an interception.
Why the Cardinals can cover the spread
The Cardinals received a healthy tonic in their past two games, posting dominating SU and ATS wins over the Jets and San Francisco 49ers to shake off a dismal 1-3 SU start and push their chances to make the playoffs back up to 50.1 percent, according to PredictionMachine.com.
Arizona has the NFL's third-ranked pass defense and must put constant pressure on Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, who orchestrated three touchdown drives last week. However, Wilson remains bothered by a nagging knee injury that has limited him to just five total rushing yards over his past three outings.
The Cardinals must also continue to dominate on possession as they have in each of their last three games, averaging well over 33 minutes with the ball during those outings.
Smart pick
The Seahawks have dominated Arizona in recent visits to the desert, claiming SU and ATS wins in their past three matchups and holding the Cardinals to just six points in each of the last two.
And with both teams fielding hobbled quarterbacks, this contest could be settled by the stronger defense. Look for Seattle to extend its road dominance of the Cardinals with a fourth straight SU and ATS win.
Betting trends
The Seahawks are 3-0 SU and ATS in their last three games on the road against the Cardinals.
The total has gone under in four of the Cardinals' last five games against their division.
The Seahawks are 6-1-1 ATS in their last eight games in Week 7.
