Ravens Fan in Critical Condition After Altercation with 2 Raiders Fans
A Baltimore Ravens fan was hospitalized Sunday after two Oakland Raiders fans allegedly assaulted him during the teams' Week 4 matchup.
According to Tim Prudente of the Baltimore Sun, Scott Smith, 30, and Andrew Nappi, 31, were each arrested and charged with first- and second-degree assault. Nappi told police he, Smith and Joseph Bauer, 55, were arguing when Bauer hit Smith in the head with a bottle. Nappi said he then punched Bauer in the face.
Sharon Bauer, Joseph Bauer's wife, told police "Smith shoved Bauer to the ground, and he hit his head," per Prudente.

Bauer was knocked unconscious and remains unresponsive. His sister, Susan Bauer, told the Baltimore Sun the extent of his injuries are not yet known.
"We're clinging to hope," Susan Bauer said. "He's still not responsive and not awake, and we don't know the extent of his brain damage. The doctors said it was consistent with a major stroke."
Further details regarding the case have not been made available. Nappi and Smith have both been released from police custody after posting $25,000 and $50,000 bonds, respectively.
