Sammy Watkins Placed on Injured Reserve

• The Buffalo Bills announced on Friday that wide receiver Sammy Watkins was placed on injured reserve. The lingering foot injury won't necessarily keep Watkins out for the remainder of the season, as the Bills can use their designated-to-return IR slot for him.

Dez Bryant Shows Remorse for Missing MRI, Team Activities

• "Things could've been done a lot different," Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant said, per ESPN.com's Todd Archer. "I could've done a way better job on my part. It was more so on really not wanting to see what was going on with my injury. Luckily, it was way better than what I thought and everything is good. And I'm just ready to get back on that field whenever that time is."

Washington Huskies Destroy Stanford Cardinal

• The No. 10 Washington Huskies dismantled the No. 7 Stanford Cardinal 44-6 on Friday. Washington is now 5-0 and comfortably atop the Pac-12 after holding Heisman candidate Christian McCaffrey to just 49 yards on 12 carries.

Michael Oher Out for Week 4

• Carolina Panthers offensive tackle Michael Oher will be sidelined for Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons. Oher is in the NFL's concussion protocol, according to ESPN.com's David Newton.

Josh Gordon to Enter Rehab

• On Thursday, Josh Gordon and the Cleveland Browns announced that he'd be entering rehab. Now, it looks as though Gordon's time with the Browns may be up. ESPN.com's Dan Graziano reported that Cleveland is looking to part ways with the receiver.
