Protesters to Try to Block Entrances to Stadium for Vikings at Panthers Game
Police in Charlotte, North Carolina, are preparing for a protest Sunday before the Carolina Panthers' home game against the Minnesota Vikings, according to ESPN.com.
Per that report, "A source told ESPN's Michael Eaves that police received word Saturday night that protesters will gather Sunday morning at Marshall Park, about a mile from Bank of America Stadium, and will march down to the stadium and try to block all of its entrances—even those for the players and officials."
There have been a number of protests in Charlotte since Tuesday, when 43-year-old Keith Lamont Scott was shot and killed by a police officer.

On Sunday, David Newton of ESPN.com reported Panthers players entered the stadium via a bus escorted by police.
There was a heavy police presence at the stadium in anticipation of the protests, as Tyler R. Tynes of SB Nation showed:

Any protests outside the stadium may be accompanied by protests on the field, as a number of players have joined San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick in kneeling, locking arms or raising fists during the playing of the national anthem. Kaepernick began demonstrating during the preseason to highlight police brutality and the oppression of African-Americans and minorities in the United States.
