Utah Utes Rally to Beat USC Trojans
- With 9:48 left in the third quarter of Friday's game between USC and Utah, the Trojans scored a touchdown to go up 24-10. From that point on, the Utes went on a 21-3 run that included a game-winning touchdown pass with 16 seconds left in the game.

Usain Bolt Says He Has Declined Offers to Play Wide Receiver in NFL
- During an appearance on The Dan Patrick Show, Jamaica's Usain Bolt said he's rebuffed offers to play wide receiver in the NFL. “I’ve never really thought about going,” Bolt said (via Seth Rubinroit of NBC Sports), “but I’ve gotten offers and people have asked me.”

Mike Ditka Comments on Colin Kaepernick's National Anthem Protest
- "I have no respect for Colin Kaepernick," Mike Ditka said in an interview on Shan & RJ on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas (h/t CBS DFW). "He probably has no respect for me, that's his choice. My choice is, I like this country, I respect our flag, and I don't see all the atrocities going on in this country that people say are going on."

Sammy Watkins is Questionable in Week 3
- Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins suffered a setback with his foot injury during a walkthrough on Friday. Head coach Rex Ryan told reporters the bad foot was stepped on, adding that the receiver's chances of playing are "probably not real good."

Jacoby Brissett Will Likely Have Thumb Surgery
- The New England Patriots may have to turn to Julian Edelman to play quarterback, after all. After losing Tom Brady to suspension before the season and Jimmy Garoppolo to a shoulder injury in Week 2, third-stringer Jacoby Brissett is now out with a thumb injury.
