LeSean McCoy Nightclub Brawl Investigation Dismissed: Latest Details, Comments
The Pennsylvania attorney general's office has officially dismissed the investigation that revolved around the February nightclub brawl in Philadelphia involving Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy.
McCoy's attorney confirmed the development to Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News on Thursday.
In April, the Philadelphia Inquirer's Chris Palmer reported McCoy would not face charges after he was reportedly involved in a brawl in the Old City section of Philadelphia that sent two off-duty police officers to the hospital.

According to Palmer, Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams "said that although it was clear that McCoy's group and the officers had argued over a champagne bottle, explanations differed about how that confrontation had escalated into a physical fight, making it impossible to determine who was acting aggressively and who was acting in self-defense."
Shortly after Williams' announcement, Pennsylvania solicitor general Bruce Castor told CBS 3 in Philadelphia (via ESPN.com's Mike Rodak) the state attorney general's office would review the case. According to Rodak, findings contrary to those of the district attorney's office could have resulted in a reversal of Williams' decision.
McCoy could still be subject to discipline under the tenets of the league's personal conduct policy, but NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported on April 11 that the 27-year-old was "not expected" to face punishment.
However, league spokesman Brian McCarthy reportedly confirmed to NFL Media's Mike Garafolo on Thursday that the NFL's investigation is still open.
