
Zurlon Tipton Dies at Age 26 After Accidental Shooting
The Wayne County, Michigan, medical examiner confirmed Tuesday that NFL free-agent running back Zurlon Tipton died of an accidental gunshot wound, per John Shull of Fox 2 Detroit.
Authorities in Roseville, Michigan, reported the 26-year-old was in the process of pulling his car into a dealership service bay, per Fox 2. After exiting the vehicle, Tipton grabbed a duffel bag, which contained two guns, from the trunk. One of the guns discharged, and a bullet struck Tipton in the stomach. He died after being transported to a local hospital.

Tipton appeared in a combined 16 regular-season games for the Colts in 2014 and 2015, carrying the ball 15 times for 38 yards.
