Bills Rookie LB Eric Striker Questions Buffalo's Famous Chicken Wings
Buffalo Bills rookie linebacker Eric Striker will ultimately make the team or get cut based on his football skills, but he certainly didn't do himself any favors by questioning Buffalo's famous chicken wings.
That's a line you don't want to cross.
The undrafted linebacker out of Oklahoma raised some eyebrows this past week when the city's staple food came up in conversation at a press conference. It's not that Striker believes the wings aren't (or won't be) any good; it's that he just doesn't understand how they can be that much better than anywhere else. Because chicken wings are chicken wings.

Striker was immediately met by defensive reporters who warned him to watch himself. There are a few things the people of Buffalo take very seriously, and wings are toward the top of the list.
Bills veteran offensive lineman Richie Incognito got a good laugh out of the rookie's comments, but he wanted to let Buffalo fans know that he'll get his young teammate to taste the city's wings before he talks about them again:
