NFL Draft 2016 Results: Live Round 2 Reaction and Analysis

Brent SobleskiApr 29, 2016

Day 1 of the 2016 NFL draft is in the books and may be difficult to top with two quarterbacks selected among the first two picks, a running back in the top five, multiple trades and an ill-timed appearance from a gas mask. But Day 2 promises to be intriguing due to the available talent and the overall perception of this year's class.

Fans at the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago will be on edge of their seats, because the second and third rounds are expected to be littered with a new set of storylines.

This year's Heisman Trophy winner, Alabama running back Derrick Henry, has yet to be selected. Michigan State's all-time winningest quarterback, Connor Cook, should be the next signal-caller off the board. A handful of first-round talents are still available. And more trades are expected, particularly at the top of the second round.

Nothing will top what happened to Laremy Tunsil on Thursday—how could it?—but the second and third rounds are considered the heart of this year's talent pool. A team's draft will be made or crushed based on Friday's results.

Bleacher Report is ready, willing and able to provide reaction from around the NFL landscape and analysis of the biggest moves as teams flesh out their rosters with valuable picks outside of the first round.
