2016 NFL Mock Draft: Predictions for Top Prospects as Pro Days Conclude
We're entering the homestretch heading into the 2016 NFL draft as players wrap up their pro days and teams schedule their final predraft visits with prospects.
At this stage, the most important event remaining in the evaluation process is the medical recheck in Indianapolis on April 14 and 15. It will be particularly important for the high-profile prospects coming off injuries, such as UCLA linebacker Myles Jack and Notre Dame linebacker Jaylon Smith.
For the rest of the healthy prospects, their month will be filled with final visits and workouts with teams as NFL executives work to put the finishing touches on their draft boards before Day 1 on April 28.

Notable Selections
6. Baltimore Ravens: Joey Bosa

The Ravens have more glaring needs to address than their pass rush, but it would be uncharacteristic of general manager Ozzie Newsome to pass over an obvious opportunity to upgrade his defensive front seven.
Elvis Dumervil and Terrell Suggs (ages 32 and 33, respectively) are both on the downswing of their careers, and aside from Za'Darius Smith, the team doesn't have any promising pass-rushers waiting in the wings.
Baltimore may not ask Joey Bosa to play a significant role early in his career, but by adding him to the roster now, Newsome could feel better about the future of the Ravens' pass-rushing unit.
8. Philadelphia Eagles: Carson Wentz

Despite re-signing Sam Bradford and bringing in Chase Daniel from the Kansas City Chiefs, the Eagles appear to be dead set on adding another young quarterback in the draft.
The Eagles have set up visits or held workouts with multiple highly regarded quarterbacks. California's Jared Goff reportedly worked out with the team on March 28, according to 95.7 The Game's John Middlekauff. North Dakota State's Carson Wentz worked out on March 30, and Paxton Lynch worked out on March 31, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport (h/t NJ.com).
It's difficult to draw conclusions based on individual prospects' visits—after all, there's no guarantee the visit went well—but when a team shows an obvious interest in a specific position, there's likely a plan in place to address that area on draft day.
Both Wentz and Goff have the tools to develop into traditional pocket passers, which would make them good fits to work with Eagles head coach Doug Pederson.
28. Kansas City Chiefs: Mackensie Alexander

The Chiefs were dealt one of the biggest blows of the free-agency period when cornerback Sean Smith bolted for the AFC West division-rival Oakland Raiders.
The loss of Smith broke up one of the league's best starting duos at cornerback in Smith and Marcus Peters.
Jamell Fleming and Phillip Gaines are positioned to compete for the starting job, but both would be a significant step down from Smith. Adding a young cornerback such as Clemson's Mackensie Alexander (5'10", 190 lbs) would allow the Chiefs to maintain a strong young secondary for the foreseeable future.
There are some concerns about Alexander's readiness for the NFL, primarily related to his developing ball skills. But playing opposite a talent like Peters would ease those concerns, as the Chiefs would not ask him to handle the more difficult assignments early in his career.
