Calvin Johnson retired from the NFL last week at the age of 30 after nine years in the league.
To thank him for everything he did for the franchise, the Detroit Lions took out an ad in the Detroit Free Press on Sunday to thank the one they called , because a player like Johnson deserves a classy farewell.
goes out as the Lions' all-time leader in receptions (career), receiving yards (career, season and game) and receiving touchdowns (career and season). In other words, he rewrote the record books during his time in Detroit.
