Massive Swarm of Bees Wreaks Havoc at Royals Spring Training Game

Bugs don’t like baseball.

Back in 2007, the New York Yankees were absolutely swarmed in Game 2 of the American League Division Series versus the Cleveland Indians at Jacobs Field. On Tuesday, the Kansas City Royals and Colorado Rockies felt that same pain.

This time, it was a massive throng of bees that caused problems for Ned Yost’s team:

Luckily, there was a retired beekeeper, Lowell Hutchinson, at the game. That makes total sense:

After beating the Colorado Rockies, 3-2, Yost jokingly compared Kansas City to the bees:
