Adam Jones will remain with the Cincinnati Bengals on a three-year deal, according to Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports and Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports.

Jones is a veteran who has recorded three interceptions in each of the past three seasons. With Reggie Nelson likely headed elsewhere, it was important for the Bengals to retain Jones' ball-hawking abilities. He also adds value as a return man on special teams.

The Bengals defense will benefit from Jones playing the perimeter again in 2016.
