Considering that Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton and Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry are buddies, it should come as no surprise that the NFL star has a pair of shoes from Curry's signature line with Under Armour.

Of course, his Curry Twos have been Newton-ized.

Newton—who also represents Under Armour—broke out cool customized cleats for pregame warm-ups on a weekly basis this year. Now, during the biggest week of his career to date, his shoe game has reached a new height.

According to Sole Collector's Brandon Richard, Newton has received a pair of customized Curry Twos for Super Bowl week. The shoes feature Carolina Panthers logos on both sides as well as a honeycomb pattern on the tongue, which appears to be a tribute to the Charlotte Hornets.

As if all that wasn't enough, the tongue can be unzipped to reveal a special Superman section. That awesome feature is, of course, a nod to one of Newton's signature celebrations:

Just when you thought his shoe game couldn't get any better, Newton one-upped himself.
