Thomas Duffy
Feb 2, 2016It's not easy to spot an undercover legend.
On Tuesday, Lyft had Hall of Fame wide receiver Jerry Rice go incognito as a driver named "J." Before taking the wheel, the 53-year-old took off one of his Super Bowl rings—"too much of a giveaway."
Several of Rice's passengers claimed to be diehard San Francisco 49ers fans, but they all failed to unveil the greatest wideout in team history.

"I'm not really into sports, man," Rice said to one guy.
He told another he had reached his peak in high school.
At the end of the trips, Rice got out and danced with his passengers before revealing who he was. One rider claimed to have recognized Rice immediately.
Yeah, OK.
