Ahman Green has landed a new role on a different stage.

The Green Bay Packers' all-time leading rusher revealed this week he'll have a role in the upcoming film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

The retired running back is officially listed as "Thug #2" on IMDb, a role he described to the Just Not Sports podcast as "more than an extra."

"That was just a dream come true, a great opportunity that [director] Zack Snyder and their casting director gave me to be on set," Green said.

The gig, though still arguably small, didn't just fall into his lap. Green leveraged his eight seasons with the Packers to appeal to Snyder, a Green Bay native whom he had met several years before, to land a spot on the film's roster.

"I just stayed consistent with contacting him and finally I got a call from Warner Bros. Studios setting up flights," Green told the podcast. "It was just like, 'Yes, here we go!'"

Batman v Superman hits theaters March 25.
