Anyone who follows Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson on Twitter can see that the outspoken star is all about EA Sports' FIFA video game.
The former Cincinnati Bengals receiver has been known to brag about his FIFA skills, and has even gone to a gamer's house to play. As that experience showed, the 37-year-old never backs down from a challenge.
Well, it didn't take long for someone to issue the first challenge of 2016:
Calling out @ochocinco in a Fifa match,on Xbox one, my gammer tag is IIXxWEEZYxXII— Rodney (@_DATBO1WOODY) January 2, 2016
If you call Ochocinco out like that, you better be prepared to back up your talk:
Why would he want to start the new year off w/ a loss... #FIFA16KING— Chad Johnson (@ochocinco) January 2, 2016
Can someone please inform @_DATBO1WOODY that I will not hesitate to come in his place of residence & whoop his ass in FIFA16...— Chad Johnson (@ochocinco) January 2, 2016
Just landed in Miami, left my luggage at baggage claim headed to @_DATBO1WOODY house to beat his ass in FIFA16...— Chad Johnson (@ochocinco) January 2, 2016
When will people learn, I'm the best FIFA player in the states. I will show up at your house, go in your refrigerator then beat you...— Chad Johnson (@ochocinco) January 2, 2016
Johnson may not be undefeated in his FIFA career, but he handed out a pretty good beatdown on this day:
Was leaving his clothes behind worth it?
My luggage is still at the airport, it's all good though, I taught a valuable lesson in FIFA16 which is more important than my clothes...— Chad Johnson (@ochocinco) January 3, 2016
New year, same Ochocinco.
Getting beat by eight goals may have been embarrassing, but to his credit, the gamer came back to win the second match:
No word on if they settled the score with a tiebreaker.
