Former Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle was arrested Tuesday night outside of a Kansas casino after allegedly assaulting a police officer.
According to a TMZ report, Randle was kicked out of the casino for being too intoxicated and became belligerent when asked to leave. He allegedly spit on the floor and assaulted a security officer before being arrested. The TMZ report indicates he was charged with "felony criminal threats, misdemeanor assault of a law enforcement officer, interference with a law enforcement officer, battery, disorderly conduct and criminal trespass."

The Cowboys released Randle, 23, in November amid a series of incidents. He was arrested last year after stealing underwear and cologne from a department store, and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said he was concerned about Randle's mental health before the team released him.
“I'm always concerned as to any issues regarding the [mental] health of a player," Jones said, per ESPN's Todd Archer. "It's a lot more serious than the football [injury].”
Randle was also arrested in February after allegedly pointing a gun at his girlfriend, but those charges were dropped. The NFL nonetheless suspended him for four games.
He is currently being held on $25,000 bail.
