Cris Carter Explains Cam Newton's 'Bapping' Dance, Is Very Wrong
Cris Carter took up his usual role on Wednesday morning as Mike & Mike's resident pop-culture consigliere.
On this occasion, Carter was tasked with shedding some light on that dance Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton did on Sunday that ruined the afternoons of parents and their incredibly well-spoken children everywhere.
The dance is called "dabbing"—or as Carter termed it, "bapping."
Twitter user @GeorgeFoster72 posted video of Carter's explanation. The former wide receiver nails all the intricacies of bapping, except the part where it's not bapping.
"You put your face in here and that's called 'bapping,'" Carter said. "Kendrick Lamar, lot of other people...Drake...everyone has been doing it...so [Newton] was waving on him and then he bapped on him."
Your thoughts, Internet?

Don't let them get you down, Cris.
You stay bapping on those folks. It's what Limerick Lamar, Fettuccine Wrap and all the other cool cats are doing.
And they know what's hip.
Dan is on Twitter. He's been doing the Snakey Wedge all morning.
