Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
With his team sitting at 1-5 and needing a win to get back on track, Baltimore fan Ryan Blake figured there was no way the Ravens would lose to the Arizona Cardinals this past Monday. A John Harbaugh team dropping to 1-6? Not a chance, right?
Blake was so confident his team would win that he made a "bet." No, there wasn't any money on the line (that we know of). Instead, he said he would eat six—one for each loss—purple crayons if the Ravens lost to the Cardinals.
As has been a common theme this season, Baltimore came up just short and fell to Arizona, 26-18. That meant it was time for the 20-year-old Ravens fan to stick to his word.
Blake paid up on the bet by eating the crayons—each with a different condiment. Apparently Old Bay makes the experience somewhat tolerable.
Here's what we learned from this bet:
- Don't bet on a 1-5 team.
- Don't bet against Carson Palmer, who is 16-4 in his last 20 games right now.
- Crayons and mustard don't mix well.
There is one thing we really need to know. Did Blake learn from this experience? Here's what he had to say about possibly making future bets, per Ryan Mink of BaltimoreRavens.com:
"I haven't thought much about future games yet. I'm willing to make this same bet if we lose to Bye Week. I hear they have a shaky secondary and we should be able to exploit them. I'm sure I'll at least do something for the next Steelers game.
"
If he does indeed make a "bet" on the Pittsburgh game, he needs to take things up a few notches. After all, that is a rivalry game.
