Troy Polamalu, Brett Keisel Take in Pirates Game with Family of Fallen Soldier
Thanks to Operation Once in a Lifetime, the family of a fallen soldier was treated to a once-in-a-lifetime experience at PNC Park on Monday night.
The St. Louis Cardinals and Pittsburgh Pirates were squaring off in a National League Central showdown. It was sure to be fun. But it was made even better by two former Pittsburgh Steelers stars.
Troy Polamalu and Brett Keisel sat with the family as a way to show their respect for the sacrifice their husband and father made for his country. According to Operation Once in a Lifetime, the soldier died in 2008 during the Iraq War.

Some Steelers fans may have considered Polamalu and Keisel heroes for what they did on the football field, but the former standouts know who the real heroes are. That means when they get the chance, they're going to do what they can to show their appreciation.
