Chris Brown of the team's official website revealed that the Bills activated Williams from the PUP list after he passed his physical. The defensive tackle is expected to practice Monday.
Bills Need Williams Healthy for Playoff Push
Williams is a dominant defensive lineman when healthy. He is a four-time Pro Bowler and boasted 34.5 career sacks coming into the 2015 season as his 10th year in the league.
What’s more, Pro Football Focus rated Williams as the 75th-best player in the entire NFL before last season started. He suffered a knee injury in an October loss to the Cincinnati Bengals that required surgery to repair a meniscus problem and ended his season after just six games.
