Sam Bradford Takes Big Hit, Controversial Low Tackle vs. Ravens

Thomas DuffyJun 8, 2018

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford had a super-rough beginning to Saturday’s preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Early on, the 27-year-old was leveled after hesitating to get the ball out on a passing play.

A flag was rightfully thrown on the play:

The former No. 1 overall pick (2010) has struggled mightily with injuries throughout his career, missing 31 games in five years. After the game, he voiced his displeasure with Suggs' hit:

Bradford's teammate, left tackle Jason Peters, says he thought Suggs' hit was premeditated:

One thing we know for sure is that if he keeps getting hit like he did Saturday night, it’s possible he’ll find himself on the sidelines even more.
