Telemundo Sportscaster Screams 'Gol' for 22 Seconds After Mason Crosby FG
I'm not here to judge sportscasters who put passion and style into their sessions in the booth.
The world needs Ray Hudsons and Andres Cantors to keep things zesty and viewers engaged. A solid call can make a good play great, and a great play unforgettable.
So in no way, shape or form am I condemning an instance of divine exuberance from a Telemundo talent during Thursday night's preseason game between the Green Bay Packers and New England Patriots.

The call was heard on the Spanish-language channel, according to Twitter user Njl, who posted video of Mason Crosby punching in a 25-yard gimme field goal in the first quarter.Â
It might as well have been a 72-yarder in overtime to win Super Bowl Forever, though:

For those keeping track at home, that's 22 seconds of "gol," which is a lot of gol, particularly for a football game.
But like I said, I'm not here to judge. If you've been tasked with calling a preseason football game, you're already on latrine detail, so no one can fault you for at least trying to have some fun with it.Â
And if I'm Mason Crosby, I'm bookmarking this video and playing it for all major holidays and family events. Because, deep down, all kickers wish they were ripping nets in La Liga instead of booting eggs on the sideline for 58 minutes a game.
Dan is on Twitter. Yell "gol" the next time someone backs into their parking spot. They obviously want the attention.
