Jets Fans Taunt Patriots Training Camp with 'Cheaters Look Up' Fly-Over Banner
The New York Jets fan air force struck again Thursday morning, coming out of a seven-month hibernation to stick a mocking finger in New England Patriots fans' eyes on the first day of training camp.
Patriots fans flooded into the franchise's training facilities this morning to watch the team work and, just perhaps, forget for one moment about the Deflategate eruptions of the last week.
Instead, however, they were treated to the sight of a biplane circling the field with a "Cheaters Look Up" banner.

Reporters and fans on the ground took pictures as the plane flew over the camp.

According to the Boston Globe's Shalise Manza Young, the plane completed seven or eight passes over the camp, roughly matching Geno Smith's 2014 season totals.
Kristian Dyer of Metro reports this banner fly-by was bankrolled by the same Jets fans who pooled their money to fund the FireJohnIdzik.com billboards and the "FireJohnIdzik.com" banner that flew over a Jets practice in December.
That's in addition to a "Fire John Idzik" banner from November, apparently purchased by an entirely different fan.
The group tweeted a close-up of the banner on the ground to the Patriots after the deed was done.
