Most of it is proof that the majority of mankind should be institutionalized for its own safety, but every once in a while from the twisting gyre of weirdness that is the web comes something so unnecessary it crosses over into the realm of the sublime.
Enter Straight Outta Cooperstown, a Tumblr account that mashes up rappers with MLB Hall of Famers for no other reason than because it's great.
For The Win's Mike Foss unearthed this little gem. Everyone from Biggie to the Wu-Tang Clan and Kendrick Lamar gets their face and name blended with the card of one of baseball's greats. I only hope you enjoy it a quarter as much as I do.
Ah...hits the spot, right?
The only one I can't come to terms with here is "Lou Brock Shakur"—a great name mashup, but I can't help but think Pac would've rather walked into the ocean before being associated with the St. Louis Cardinals.
