The Baltimore Orioles and Chicago White Sox played at a nearly empty Camden Yards on Wednesday afternoon as the result of ongoing unrest in Baltimore. The game was closed to the public, meaning the only people allowed to watch in the stadium would be media members, scouts, ballpark staff and other people on the job.

It created a very unusual environment for an MLB game.

However, as Fox Sports' Jon Morosi tweeted, attendance will not officially go down as "zero":

Before the game, Orioles catcher Caleb Joseph did what he could to make it feel like a normal game by pretending to sign autographs for imaginary fans. That was hardly the only bizarre thing to happen during the game.

Baltimore scored six runs in the first inning with the help of a three-run home run by Chris Davis. Although the stands were empty, the fans behind the gate in right field made some noise as Davis rounded the bases:
