Morgan Reportedly Re-Signs With Titans

Friday, March 13

Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean reported that Morgan signed a four-year, $30 million deal with the Titans.

Falcons, Buccaneers, Titans and Cowboys Hoping to Sign Morgan

Thursday, March 12

On the heels of a season that saw him make a successful transition to outside linebacker with 6.5 sacks, Morgan is generating plenty of interest in free agency.

According to the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the former Tennessee Titans star is being pursued by the Falcons, Cowboys and Buccaneers:

Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports reported that Morgan visited the Bucs Thursday night and that the Cowboys maintain interest.

Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean also reported that signing both Morgan and Brian Orakpo is a "best scenario" for the Titans, who are still working to land both players. Wyatt added, "Morgan meeting w Bucs today, but still a big Titans priority. Cowboys also interested. He visited Falcons Wed, but they inked Clayborn."

The 2010 first-round pick has registered at least six sacks in each of the past three seasons, and he has shown the ability to thrive in both 4-3 and 3-4 defensive systems.

That type of production and versatility is coveted, especially among teams that struggled to pressure the quarterback last season.

There is no doubt that both the Falcons, Buccaneers and the Cowboys would all benefit from his services. While Morgan may not necessarily be an elite pass-rusher, adding him to the mix would undoubtedly be a huge step forward for whichever defense he lands on.
