Summer of Gronk Continues with Rob Gronkowski Playing Dodgeball at Hockey Game

So we’re clear on the criteria, the “Summer of Gronk” began the moment Rob Gronkowski’s season ended in haymakers and Super Bowl glory.

Any time that is not the regular season is summertime for the New England Patriots tight end, who is currently locked in a Tron death race with Julian Edelman for most debauched month in post-Caligula human history. 

After partying his pants to shreds in Los Angeles and drinking metropolitan Boston dry at the Super Bowl parade, Gronkowski has set his sights on the Sunshine State.

More specifically, New England’s favorite party-ox took a trip down to Florida to play dodgeball...at a hockey rink.

Pictures have surfaced of Gronkowski throwing rubber balls during an intermission at a Florida Everblades game.

He then overthrew a ball and smoked some unfortunate soul in the stands, according to local sports writer Ryan Toohey:

It’s unclear if anyone yelled “in the face” at this juncture. One can hope.

What we do know is that the human parade float that is Gronk is on tour and gaining steam. The tight end made an earlier foray to a Boston Bruins game over the weekend, where he communed again in his tradition of spiking the puck:

Never stop, Gronk. While that finicky dirt-beaver in Pennsylvania may have sentenced us to six more weeks of winter, you prove yet again that summer isn’t a season. It’s a state of mind.
