An own goal from Frederik Boi restored the home side’s lead just before the break, and Mbark Boussoufa made it 3-1 shortly after the hour. Thomas Buffel pulled one back for the visitors in the 73rd minute, but Anderlecht held on to their lead to jump to first place.

The Jets weren’t to be denied victory though, as substitutes Sean Rooney and Jason Naidovski combined to grab the winner six minutes from time.
