ABC 7 in L.A. received confirmation from the Tampa Bay police department.

Chris Fischer of WTSP 10 News in Tampa shared a photo from the scene, revealing damage to a nearby car:

On Monday, Caitlin Johnston of the Tampa Bay Times updated the statuses of the seven victims who were sent to the hospital:

"

Two of the seven people injured by a lightning strike after Sunday's Buccaneers game remain hospitalized, one in critical condition and the other with non-life threatening injuries, officials said Monday.

All of the victims were taken to St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa after lightning struck an SUV in parking lot 14 of Raymond James Stadium, Tampa Fire Rescue said.

Five were treated and released Sunday night, St. Joseph's Hospital spokeswoman Nancy Gay said. One is in critical condition and the other has non-life threatening injuries. The ages of the patients range from the early 20s to a man in his in 70s.

"

According to WTSP 10 News, the strike occurred on the north side of the stadium, and it's currently unclear whether the lightning hit the fans directly or if they felt the effects of a bolt near the area.

The extent of the fans' injuries was also unknown, with all six being treated at nearby St. Joseph's Hospital.
