Lions' Dominic Raiola Stomps on Ankle of Bears' Ego Ferguson
Detroit Lions center Dominic Raiola is certainly making a name for himself this season—but not in a good way.
A few weeks ago, Raiola received a lot of criticism for intentionally diving at a New England Patriots defensive lineman's legs while the Lions took a knee at the end of a blowout loss.
That incident makes what he did during Week 16 look even worse.

During Sunday's game, Raiola stomped on the ankle of Chicago Bears defensive tackle Ego Ferguson, who was at the bottom of a pile.
Raiola wasn't fined for the cheap shot against the Patriots, but he may be hearing from the league office at some point this week.
Update: Sunday, December 21
"The matter will be reviewed and appropriate discipline will be applied for any potential safety-related rules violations," NFL spokesman Michael Signora said in an email Monday.

Ferguson was not interested in Raiola's apology, per Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press:
""You all saw the play; I don't have to explain that," Ferguson told reporters after the game. "I felt like what needs to stay in between the lines needs to stay in between the lines."
As for Raiola's apology, Ferguson said, "None of that matters."
"We all saw the play," he said. "You can't take back what happened with that play, do you know what I mean? You saw the play."
