Redskins' Santana Moss Ejected for Confronting Referee After Overturned TD

Even though the Washington Redskins held a 10-7 halftime lead over the New York Giants Sunday, they were furious because they felt they were robbed of points.

At the end of the second quarter, Washington quarterback Robert Griffin III scrambled his way out of trouble and made a dash for the end zone. 

The referee initially ruled that the ball broke the plane and was a touchdown. However, after review, the call on the field was overturned. The referees ruled that Griffin lost control of the football before crossing the goal line, resulting in a touchback.

That ruling did not sit well with the Redskins, especially receiver Santana Moss. 

Moss confronted the officials and apparently said something that was enough to get a 15-yard penalty and an ejection.

Update: December 19, 2014

Moss has reportedly been fined by the NFL for his abusive behavior.
