Odell Beckham Jr. Kicks a Spinning Football Through the Uprights at Practice
There's apparently nothing New York Giants rookie wideout Odell Beckham Jr. can't do.
By now, just about everyone who has either turned on a television or gone online in the past week has seen Beckham's ridiculous catch against the Dallas Cowboys. Although he gets paid to make plays with his hands, he might be able to make it in the NFL as a kicker.
In the clip above, Beckham (an elite youth soccer player) wowed with his ability to nail a 31-yard field goal at practice. The receiver did so without a holder or a tee, thanks to his ability to spin the football. Spinning the ball definitely makes it hard to ensure the laces are out at the time of the kick.
If the Giants ever need an emergency kicker for an extra-point attempt, it would be very intriguing to see Beckham get a chance to kick using his own style. Former Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chad Johnson once got a chance to do an extra point and a kickoff during a preseason game, so maybe Beckham can talk his way into action at some point.
