Jets vs. Bills Tickets for Monday's Game in Detroit Will Be Free

Joseph ZuckerNov 21, 2014

Fans in Detroit can't complain about the price of admission for Monday night's game between the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills, which was moved to Ford Field.

CNN Sports' Jill Martin reported that the NFL is making all of the tickets for the displaced clash free for general admission on a first-come, first-served basis:

Both Bleacher Report's Matt Miller and NFL.com's Ian Rapoport were fans of the decision.

According to ESPN.com's Michael Rothstein, season-ticket holders of both the Bills and Jets will have first crack at the tickets starting Friday. Everyone else can go online Saturday to reserve a seat.

During the game, the Lions will hold a raffle with the proceeds donated to the American Red Cross of Western and Central New York Disaster Relief Fund.

The NFL decided on Thursday that Buffalo was unable to host the Bills and Jets after massive snowstorms hammered upstate New York. CBS will televise the game, which is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.
