Graham Comments on Shoulder Injury
Without question, the most important player for the New Orleans Saints is quarterback Drew Brees. But No. 2 on that list almost assuredly is tight end Jimmy Graham.
Nick Underhill of The Advocate reports that Graham is still dealing with the same shoulder that he injured earlier in the season:
"The Saints tight end said Friday that he’s still managing the pain in his shoulder “every day” and that it has impacted his blocking this season.
“At times this year the shoulder has really held me back sometimes,” Graham said. “Other times I’m able to fight through the pain. I just got to man up and keep doing it.”
"
Few players offer a bigger matchup nightmare for opposing defenses, even at 75 percent health, than Graham does, so the Saints are going to be in trouble if Graham is seriously hobbled.
While things don't appear to be serious, Graham has to be 100 percent for the Saints to be clicking on all cylinders.
