Seahawks' DeShawn Shead Proposed to Girlfriend at Midfield After Game

The Seattle Seahawks had plenty to be happy about after beating the Denver Broncos in overtime, 26-20, in a rematch of Super Bowl XLVIII on Sunday. However, football took a back seat for Seahawks cornerback DeShawn Shead.

After the players had time to shower and get dressed following the game, Shead took girlfriend Jessica Martinez out to midfield at CenturyLink Field, where he did something that would change their lives forever. Shead got down on one knee—on the Seahawks logo—and proposed.

There were plenty of people there to witness this special occasion.

The Seahawks were all winners on this day, but nobody on the team had a bigger day than Shead.
